Our family adventures are perfect for your whole family to enjoy together. We are passionate about getting off the beaten track and exploring Skye's hidden gems. All of our guides are local with plenty of stories to tell you about the Island! Swim round wild and rugged coastlines, slide down hidden gorges, hike on rolling heathery hills or learn to climb by the sea.
We offer coasteering, gorge walking, rock climbing and hiking for family groups, all activities can be altered to suit your ability, so If you have some experience, let us know!
What you need to know
- Ability: Some basic swimming ability is required, as well as moderate fitness for the water activities. For land activities basic fitness and a desire to climb or walk! We will teach you everything else you need to know.
- Kit: We will equip you with climbing kit, water kit ( including cosy 5mm wetsuits, socks, gloves and beanies) . Sizes run from age 8 years and up.
- Location: Where ever we think it will suit your adventure day best. This will be chosen on the basis of weather, tides and what you want to get out of your day
- Price: For 2 adults and 2 children a half day is £190. From age 8 and above.

Coasteering
Coasteering with Skye Adventure is an incredible journey along a beautiful section of coast line in the most Northern part of Skye. Your adventure will include swimming, jumping and climbing as you make a journey round the coast by sea and rock. During this unforgettable adventure you'll explore intricate coves, clamber over sea stacks and swim through hidden tunnels, you won't be able to wipe the grin from your face!
Gorge walking
Skye is a really great place to experience gorge walking with many beautiful rivers and canyons to explore. Gorge walking with Skye adventure is a truly unique experience, you'll jump, swim and slide your way down the river through crystal clear pools and waterfalls with our experienced guides to keep you safe.
Rock climbing
Try a day rock climbing on the beautiful sea cliffs of Staffin. Our begniners crag has some brilliant wee routes that are super fun and safe for all the family.
